Coach Larsen has announced that Senior Cathcer Ryan Pladson, from Eastlake High School in Sammamish, has decided to play for Linfield College in 2014. Linfield is a great Division III school located in McMinniville, Oregon. They are coached by former MLB great Scott Brosius, who spent 11 seasons in the big leagues with the Oakland Athletics and the New York Yankees,  and won three World Series with the Yankees. “Couldn’t be more happy for Ryan.” said Coach Larsen. “He’s going to get a great opportunity to play for a great program and a really great Coach in Brosius.” “He is getting the opportunity to go to a great school, and continue to develop on the baseball field as well.”

Linfield competes in the Northwest Conference, and under Brosius have won three Northwest Conference Championships, and two Regional Championships. “They are a top tier team, that is always competing for Championships. Ryan’s leadership and work eithic is going to make him a great addition to Linfield’s roster in 2014.”
